You reach the end of your day exhausted. Having so much to do in the day leaves you feeling wound up, tense, and anxious. Often, as you try and go to sleep it escapes you. A million thoughts run threw your head. Your body is tired, but your mind just turn off. Sound familiar?

Many people try and wind down after the day using TV or books, some even playing video games. It often doesn’t work because of the onslaught of new thoughts, images and in some cases get the adrenaline going, so you wake up further. Most lie in bed doing these things so right at the moment you feel tired you can lie down and sleep. The problem with this is it’s now associated with these things.
Another technique people try is using warm milk. While some claim it puts them straight to sleep, it isn’t often solving the problem, but just sedates. Some times being tired just isn’t enough. You can be ready to collapse tired, and be unable to sleep. This is also why teas often don’t work. You drink chamomile or any other sedative tea and still not have it work. Taking a sleeping pill or equivalent can be dangerous if taken too long and can be addictive.
How To Make Yourself Go To Sleep
One big thing people do is try to exercise to force the body to sleep. This really doesn’t work. By getting the body going, it causes the heart to pump faster and faster, driving more blood to the brain which in turn wakes you up. It doesn’t often matter how much you exercised, at all.
These are things that people try to make themselves tired. They probably don’t work for you do they? Finding a new thing to do at bedtime, or soon before bed, won’t do a thing. One thing that will work is the SleepTracks program. It can help even the worse sleeper find that much needed rest.
